WEEK 5; TRIAL
TRIAL
Three dead, one vote. This might be a pit of a pickle, huh? Perhaps appropriately, the kittybots are serving pickles of all flavors today, along with food that might remind you of your childhood like ants on a log, gummy worm sundaes and adorable toast in sweet and savory profiles. To drink, are their best attempts at replicating the DD refreshers with a whole array of silly straws.
Off to the side in a booth of their own are the bodies as well as attendant kittybots (well two bodies and one arm); simply request which body you'd like to look at and the kitty bots will direct you appropriately, given the number of arms floating around. The kittybots continue to do their best.
(( OOC: Welcome to your third trial! You'll have 7 hours (8PM EST/5PM PST) to vote one (1) person guilty of murder. Since this is scapegoat style, finding the correct killer is not mandatory!
Please remember to vote before then unless you've spoken to a mod, as votes are our stand-in for AC. ))

Time to go
pick a test subjectsee if Beel is feeling generous.]Beelzebub, do you know how well you would take potential sedatives? I know your stomach is quite resilient [and carrying most of their investigations] but inhalants are a bit different.
[
at least he's not just gonna roofie him?? he asked first!!]no subject
[What a weird question, but okay.]
I don't know. If they don't smell good, I don't think I would bother to try.
Why?

I was thinking that--if you wouldn't injure yourself by trying mind you--you could try breathing some in to see if it was or not. If you start to have an adverse reaction I can heal it, but it could be important to figuring out what was preplanned in the laboratory. You're the most sturdy of the people here with foreign substances.
[you're also the group's Guinea pig, but that's the quiet part we don't say out loud.]

[He frowns a little, but slowly nods.]
I don't mind, but I'm not sure I could tell you what it was. What do you want me paying attention to?
no subject
Again, I can heal the damage after is there is any, and you stop at any time and I will heal you from the effects.
no subject
Okay. I'll try.
[Time to huff some chemicals I guess.]

Anyway, his symptoms will match up to what Baizhu stated above: dizziness, headache, and some nausea. None of these will be debilitating but definitely unpleasant. It's also unpleasant to breathe for sure. ]
no subject
He gets only a few whiffs in, coughing a bit, but once that nausea hits, he shakes his head rapidly as he growls under his breath and holds the jar far away from his face.]
No. Getting dizzy, sick to my stomach.
I'm not going any further. Get it away from me.

[Away the beaker goes, firmly capped once more. Baizhu offers a glowing green hand to Beel after he secures the glass of likely-chloroform. As long as Beel doesn't motion to brush Baizhu away, he'll set the hand on Beel and heal him just like he promised.]

Should we really be using Beel as a guinea pig right now?
no subject
If we know what this is, we can figure out whether something else was planned. If someone who died was the one who originally set up a murder, but they were caught or interrupted, wouldn't you like to know? It could make narrowing down the killers among us slightly easier as well.

Closes his eyes...]
I guess.
[If Beel passes out Haruka isn't helping to catch him.]
no subject
Thank you for your cooperation Haruka. I know this [This, this everything on the island] isn't exactly easy. One more piece of the puzzle could make it stop sooner though.

You had better heal him if he does have adverse effects.
[It was promised already, but he's being Serious here.]

[ty for acknowledging the group's hypocrisy. Poor Beel]
