Three dead, one vote. This might be a pit of a pickle, huh? Perhaps appropriately, the kittybots are serving pickles of all flavors today, along with food that might remind you of your childhood like ants on a log, gummy worm sundaes and adorable toast in sweet and savory profiles. To drink, are their best attempts at replicating the DD refreshers with a whole array of silly straws.

Off to the side in a booth of their own are the bodies as well as attendant kittybots (well two bodies and one arm); simply request which body you'd like to look at and the kitty bots will direct you appropriately, given the number of arms floating around. The kittybots continue to do their best.

You have a point, Billy said her veil was bloody when he found it. So maybe they got it on her and then broke her crop? [ since apparently that's the source of it??? ] That would help with escaping without Athos chasing them.

Yeah, that part I'm still thinking about. They'd have to have some way to carry off the blood in the first place.

Were the drink cups in the arcade bloody? Because I don't think anyone else has mentioned anything like a bucket or container yet.

They may have laid out a trap for her at the beach or the arcade.

So is the arcade part of Nona's case or Alice's case, or are we just kind of conflating everything together now?

I do hate muddling the waters and I believe we should treat the cases separate for now, but I have to wonder if we have three separate culprits or if one of them didn't survive the night.

Things were so much easier when we only had one body to deal with.

The question I now have is whether the arcade is related to Nona or Alice or both.

The blood trail leading out if it seems consistent with Nona as the victim, but so far we are associating the scalpel and birds with the Alice case...

There is a way we can figure out the scalpel and birds and if it's it related to one, the other, or both.

We can see if Beel can smell if the blood on the veil is bird blood.

I think we should do that for all the bloody evidence we have, yes.

He could lie to us, of course, but... I doubt that he would lie about Nona's murder.

[He sighs tiredly, but he still nods. Her logic makes sense.]

It's okay. I want to find out what happened to all of them.

Could you confirm the sources of blood on the bloody items we have brought in?

Alice's veil, the scalpel and the bloodied nailbat.

We have glass bits to put the aviary and Nona's case together, possibly, which means the arcade and birds might all be Nona, actually.

But it is just ... small glass shards. Kind of a tenuous link, but I don't think we have reason to think the glass was involved with Alice yet...?

Something we also need to consider is that Nona had the ability to talk to animals. It's entirely possible that's another sign that her death is linked to Athos, or even the birds, somehow.

And Alice was usin' some kinda spell on Athos. You think Doctor Doolittle could break him out just by havin' a little chat?

Any of Nona's best mates have any idea if she knew what Alice did to her animals and whether it ticked her off?

She's never mentioned anything like that to me before.

Maybe someone used the birds to lure Nona? [ Could she hear them if they were in pain? ]

It seems possible. ... Maybe the blood I saw in the arcade wasn't hers, if that's the case.

Again, why slit their throats for the blood when just... basically killing them would suffice and get the same result?

I would have used blood to trick someone. Cover myself up with it to fake being dead to surprise the other person awake.
