WEEK 5 INVESTIGATION
INVESTIGATION
Good Mourning. Unlike the previous weeks, there's no musical serenade to greet you, just the ambient sounds of the island and the stirrings of those you spent the night with, if you were the type to want company. For those of you on certain islands, the background thrum (and siren laments, for those unlucky) of the warp phenomenon may also have sung you to sleep; but will they sing you to waking? You know how this goes by now, so is anything on this of all mornings really comforting? And is everyone you spent the night with still with you...?
Indeed, the not-so-dulcet tones of the ever-present haze fill the morning; you may not want it accounted for, but here it is nevertheless.
(( OOC: Welcome to your final murder investigation, let's get this party started☆ ))

The coat looks like one of the regular coats from the storage locker outside the cold storage (which is separate but connected by the hallway outside). Examining it and the scant snow on it closely will reveal a number of glass shards sprinkled and stuck in the fabric of the coat, so it's a good thing he didn't just go for it right off. Examining the reverse side of the coat will reveal that its inner lining is spotted and smeared with blood.
Beneath the coat, Nona is wearing comfortable sweatpants and a hamburger T-shirt -- there's the glint of glass shards here and there on this outfit too. There's some frays and tears in the fabric, but there's no visible wounds otherwise.]

Hey, may as well check to see if there is anything in the sleeves or pockets of the coat too because you never know.
Once he's fully done with the coat, he'll set it aside to get a better look at the body. Will he find anything on the skin underneath where those frays and tears are? In addition, how does her skin look in general, anyway? She's in a cold room, so does it look like she's been here a while?]

The frays and tears are fairly minor and so are any random bloodstains that accompany them -- so perhaps it's less surprising that the skin beneath is unblemished. That said, thanks to the removed coat, only Nona's head and neck have really been fully exposed to the elements. Their appearance is consistent with having been in this room for several hours, including some cold damage on the ears and so on.
The rest of her visible and examined skin doesn't display the damage, but simply displays the usual deathly pallor.]

He'll do a more thorough investigation to look for any hidden injuries under her clothes. Afterwords, he carefully turns her over to see if she sustained any injuries to her back side.]

If there's nothing else here, I can slide over to the non-body thread to keep things tidy?]
