Good Mourning. Unlike the previous weeks, there's no musical serenade to greet you, just the ambient sounds of the island and the stirrings of those you spent the night with, if you were the type to want company. For those of you on certain islands, the background thrum (and siren laments, for those unlucky) of the warp phenomenon may also have sung you to sleep; but will they sing you to waking? You know how this goes by now, so is anything on this of all mornings really comforting? And is everyone you spent the night with still with you...?

Indeed, the not-so-dulcet tones of the ever-present haze fill the morning; you may not want it accounted for, but here it is nevertheless.

All she can determine re: footprints is that they're hanging somewhere nebulously around in the six feet area, so at least close together in size-ish. Any more specifics than that is a bit hard to tell. But this is definitely tall people hours.

They look like they were just knocked over by a strong force of some sort. So yes, fallen branches, but no burn marks against them or trees/things cut in half.

While she's hanging out along the rails, she might have noticed something else there as well (consider it just difficult to have fit everything in all one comment...) ]

[ Tall people hours: the most sinister hours. She'll just document what she can of the trees with more pictures. What else has she got on the rails that looks interesting? ]

[ Well, here's the next comforting part of this puzzle...

Blood splattered across the rails, yay! This is nearby the downed trees as well. So easily within sight, yep. ]

[ Oh... we love a comforting amount of blood in the morning. Psyche doesn't have Beelzebub's delicate nose, so assuming all this blood is the same human color, she can't distinguish sources. Any sense of how much and how old it is? Eg, dried or fresh, large/small amounts, dripping or sprayed about like a pressure hose... ]

[ Most certainly!

It's hanging somewhere towards a moderately small amount. Looks like it is more towards the sprayed side of things, however.

As for how old, we're going towards more drying than fresh. ]

[ Fair enough, for a moderate amount. She's documenting that as she follows it... how far along the rail does the blood trail take her? And is there any other notable damage along the rail itself or go-kart tracks. ]

[ The rail in of itself has not sustained any damage! That being said, if Psyche moves on from the immediate area, she will not find that the spray of blood goes on for long.

It is still localized near the downed trees area, but does not continue along the entirety of the route unlike the footprints and trampled plants. ]

[ So, no blood drips along the rails like someone more heavily injured was heading thataways? She'll follow the rail to the end to verify if she spots anything else along the way or picks up the footprints on the other side at Kakapo. ]

[ There is at least a relatively smidgen of a droplet trail leading into the Kakapo direction, and then strictly to the lab area! ]

[ Thank you! And just to be thorough: we're still looking at two sets of footprints towards the lab, and are there any further signs of scuffling? ]

[ There's no like, further details, regarding these set of footprints or the surrounding area other than the ones already mentioned, nope! ]

[ ty!! Then she's good, except for getting a few more pictures of the prints sized against her sword for the foot check that I'm going to make Milky run because I refuse. ]
