Good Mourning. Unlike the previous weeks, there's no musical serenade to greet you, just the ambient sounds of the island and the stirrings of those you spent the night with, if you were the type to want company. For those of you on certain islands, the background thrum (and siren laments, for those unlucky) of the warp phenomenon may also have sung you to sleep; but will they sing you to waking? You know how this goes by now, so is anything on this of all mornings really comforting? And is everyone you spent the night with still with you...?

Indeed, the not-so-dulcet tones of the ever-present haze fill the morning; you may not want it accounted for, but here it is nevertheless.

[The sewing kit and the key both look perfectly fine! No blood, no damage, no disarray. They were carefully stowed away, unlike Zelkov, who was not so carefully stowed.]

Since it doesn't look like the blood's trailing, he's going to move away from the bench and more towards the entrance of the room, trying to clear some of the snow with one of his feet as he does so. He's not expecting prints, but he's looking for something, anything, between the bench and the entrance to the room.]

[ okay, a bust on that lead. back to the birds for a moment ... if he pulls out one of the kunai he has on him, can he check it against the slices to see whether they could have feasibly made those cuts vs no it was definitely a bigger/smaller edge?

otherwise, something had to have downed those birds in the first place, and it apparently wasn't the glass itself. given that they don't look particularly crispy or anything like that he's thinking someone with a good throwing arm is more likely than say, magical or bow and arrow or gun type means. though jury's out on what sword beams qualify as. regardless! it's probably a good idea to start combing the area to see if he can find a weapon, if any was left behind.

and maybe while he's doing that he can keep an eye out for any other weird disturbances too. ]

[ Hm. Don't like that! Time to snap a photo of the puddle.

He's going to use his U-Pinion and look around elsewhere. Any other areas in this arcade that stand out? ]

Setting those things aside, he'll get a better look at Zelkov himself. Now, how are these injuries on him looking, aside from his arm? ]

[...Okay literally who would do this to Nona of all people? Temenos is definitely glad that her cabanafam did not spend too much time examining her.

He'll go ahead and very carefully move her head around as necessary to look for any other outstanding injuries. Ears, nose, mouth, hair, etc. He'll also take a closer peek at the laceration to see if it's clean or messy.]

[Hm. A lot smoother than most craters. How does the debris itself look? Is it mostly rocks or are there parts of the rail too?]

[ Ibuki finally gets the go-kart off of him, looking a little worse for the wear. He definitely didn't get out unscathed, having crashed into, well, a go-kart. But at least Crea's quick thinking and luck saved him from a particularly disastrous bite or claw wound! What a small blessing.

He takes out his U-PINION, fiddles with the screen a bit, and sighs. Hopefully this will be okay. Time to raise his U-PINION as slowly as possible, ready to take more pictures. ]

That's one theory, yeah... Time to see if he can show us what else happened.

[ Okay, can he finally get a better look at his legs now? Even if the wounds are healed, is there something matted in the fur or something? ]

[ In the direction leading to the railway, spilling over a bit to the railway itself. ]

[While WWX is setting things aside, he may notice something else on the floor next to Zelkov, half-hidden by all his discarded clothing.

Injury-wise, there's a lot of spectacular bruises all over -- some bloody cuts are also visible in the middle of the carnage. The worst of it is concentrated around his left stump, unsurprisingly, which shows evidence of crushing and mangling. Yikes.]

[ Some general notes about the arcade is that there's various debris around, whether it's from decorations having fallen from the walls, or various other effects in the arcade and a fine layer of dust covering everything.

Using his u-pinion xiao will catch a glint of something in a pile of knocked over drink cups. ]

[ He can get closer, though Athos will be watching him very carefully. Maybe luckily, there doesn't seem to be anything matted in the fur on his legs. ]

[ The arcade will never know peace.

Where are the drink cups? How many are there? And what's the glint? ]

[If the air wasn't questionable and the chemicals even moreso, he might try and waft the air above towards him to smell it, but alas. Sounds like a Bad Time(tm).

Before he starts considering the less safe chemical practices, is there anything else of note? Drawers left eschew, cabinets, anything in garbage cans or the hood?]

[The debris is composed of rock, parts of the rail metal, you name it, we've got it. Well, there's also some dark unidentifiable little pieces that may stand out because they glisten a little in the light.

Also, while he's looking around, he may notice something else larger hiding amid the debris close to the rim of the perhaps-crater.]

[ Cool, cool, he'll be as slow as possible with his movements.

What about the paws then? Probably too much to ask to shake, but how are those and his claws? ]

[Beelzebub will notice two things as he's looking around!

There's a snowman hanging out not far from Bench Zero, rotund and looking rather fresh; its arms are crooked, though, and its face is quite minimalistic.

There's also something dark on the door leading into the snow room.]

[ Oh, yikes indeed! He thinks it'll be hard to discern what caused the crushing without anything he can point to, so he'll make note of that and look at the other injuries for the time being. Are those bruises concentrated anywhere in particular, or are they all over like one might see in a fight? Same with those cuts—are they deep or long? Or are they short and only surface level?

As for that something else, he's gonna move aside some of those discarded clothes to get a look at it. ]

[HMM. Any sort of prints or identifying marks in the smears?]

Let's head to that dark item on the door. Is it a stain, or an object, and what side of the door is it on?]

[ The kunai edge looks a bit thicker than whatever caused this cut.

Mags can come the area, but he won't find any weapons or take note of anything weird or disturbed. ]

[Huh. He's gonna take one of the shiny pieces in case it's needed to compare to somebody.

But with that, now he's going to sweep the debris off the larger object to figure out what this thing is. Gimme your secrets!]

[ Also damage/scarring free, and there doesn't seem to be anything caught in them.

The claws are all intact, with nothing snagged on them or chipped. ]

[A question for the ages. And for trial, of course.

Moving her head will yield a couple of new revelations: despite everything that's happened there, her hair is only really messy in the region of worst injury. Everything else is carefully brushed back... and in fact, neatly fashioned into braids that look like they were done pretty recently. Also, more unfortunately, the movement will reveal that the bones are a bit crunchy on the side of her eye and temple -- not terribly so, but there's definitely stuff moving there that shouldn't be.

As for the laceration, it's rather clean.]
