Did you enjoy your musical serenade last week? Depending on where you find yourself this bright and sunny morning, you might be getting an encore of a different sort, in the theater.

Are you having the time of your life? Someone is, or more accurately, was if the trend from the last weeks hold. There's not even any extraneous noise to interrupt the musical marathon; the snap and pressure release of past weeks is notably absent, so maybe it's not the time to continue the party scene yet... Those on Dodo will be able to spot the warping haze stretched past the aquarium and almost to the theater by the time they make it outside, while those on Sungem and Seagull will also be able to spot the phenomenon encroaching on the shore from the ocean. Hm.

[ well crea's here to also look at skywarp's body upon walt's request. he doesn't have the best knowledge of what the fuck a car or a robot is, but he does have eyes and he is thorough.

so first of all, any injuries that are standing out? how's the body positioned? ]

[Eyeballs are important. He doesn't even have to deal with megane, good for you, Crea! ☆

Well, the first thing he'll notice is that Skywarp is sitting in a theater seat, up on the stage. Yep. One robotic leg is kicked up over an armrest. His elbow is propped on the other armrest with his head resting against his palm, a truly jaunty pose finished off with a galaxy-themed cape and even a crown! All around him are miniature models of the planets. He's a mechanical lord presiding over a beautiful plastic kingdom!

Also, both feet are missing and he has a number of visible wounds on his front. A holey king on his holy throne...?]

[ cool, so we got a theater kid doing murders. this is far more dramatic than crea would like, and he can't help but sigh.

first of all, he'd like to take a look at the crown. how well does it fit on skywarp's head? and what is the state of the crown? he'll do the same check with the cape. ]

[When in Rome -- or in theaters -- do as Roman theater kids do...?

The crown is pretty large, though not quite large enough for Skywarp. Accordingly, it's been hung on his head at a rakish angle, completing the dashing look that the stage setter was no doubt looking for.

As for the crown's status? It looks pretty normal. No unusual wear or tear.

The cape, at least, is a decent fit on Skywarp, though the underside of it is white, so you can really only get the full experience on the parts that are over his shoulders. It also looks normal aside from some of the stinky blue substance getting on it.]

[ cool, cool. he will take those off to take to trial later, setting them away from the blue oil blood. last thing he needs is to contaminate evidence.

then let's take a look at those wounds. where on the front are they? on top of that, what direction do they go to, and what's their relative size? ]

[That pesky blue oil bloodstuff, it gets everywhere!

Anyway, the wounds are centered around the head and chest, and they have no directionality because they're puncture wounds, not terribly large but considerably deep even from a cursory glance. There's some of the blue blood dried around the holes.]

if he goes to the back and moves skywarp a bit, can he see if the back has anything that might look like an exit wound? ]

[There are no exit wounds in the back, Skywarp is still pretty bulky even shrunken down. That said, in the process of moving him Crea will be able to find some more puncture wounds on his side as well -- though not as many as in the front.

Also in the process of moving, he'll discover that there's still some damp spots on the body, notably in the joints. (This is separate from the bloody stuff, to be clear.)]

[ and these puncture wounds on the side are just as deep as the ones on the front and head?

as for the dampness... he'll take a look at the joints before going to touch them. what are they damp with? are all his joints showing this sort of dampness? ]

[How is he measuring the depth of the wounds?

Poking at the joints will yield... transparent liquid! That resembles water, and has the consistency of water. It may just be water. It's not in all the joints, though, just in spots here and there. Presumably a lot of it has dried or ended up mixed with the blue bloodstuff.]

[ eyeballing it? he doesn't really have a way to do it aside from comparing how they look against the ones mentioned on the front, nor does he want a specific depth aside from 'they're kind of deep'.

as for the liquid on the joint... well, he won't go as far as tasting it (god he's not beelzebub), but if he sniffs it... does it also smell like water? ]

clarification: exit wounds

[Just going to slide it in here, but clarification on the exit wound question: there aren't any exit wounds on Skywarp's torso, but there are some outward-bulging cracks on the back of his head that suggest something was trying to emerge from within. And they match up with the holes from the front. Yikes.

For the wound depth, it's probably pretty hard to tell while eyeballing it since they're all pretty deep. If he sticks his eye up against the hole he might be able to tell that the ones in front are the deepest.

The liquid smells a bit fishy, honestly.]

[ so someone took the phrase 'sleeping with the fishes' a bit too literal? well, it seems like our killer is theatrical, so maybe that's not too weird. is there any more of this substance on skywarp's body? or is it just inside the joints? ]

[Mostly the joints and rarer damp patches outside of them!]

[ are the damp patches farther away from the joints or still nearby? ]

[They're kind of in haphazard spots all over, honestly.]

he'll go take a look at the two legs, or what remains of them. how does that area look at first glance? ]

[Well, the feeties are completely gone.

The right leg is the leg that was given a prosthetic made of harpoons -- it's back down to the stump.

The left leg was the leg with an intact foot. Keyword being was. I'll just refer you to Temenos' foot investigation thread because the wounds will match.]

Yeesh, they did a number on him.

can he take a look at skywarp's hands? is there anything telling about them such as scratches or dents or perhaps a written confession? ]

[Skywarp's hands don't seem to have received too much damage. Only his feet were sacrificed, apparently.]

[ they were absolutely necessary sacrifices.

but hm. is there anything else that he can discern if he gives the body another look over? ]
