Did you enjoy your musical serenade last week? Depending on where you find yourself this bright and sunny morning, you might be getting an encore of a different sort, in the theater.

Are you having the time of your life? Someone is, or more accurately, was if the trend from the last weeks hold. There's not even any extraneous noise to interrupt the musical marathon; the snap and pressure release of past weeks is notably absent, so maybe it's not the time to continue the party scene yet... Those on Dodo will be able to spot the warping haze stretched past the aquarium and almost to the theater by the time they make it outside, while those on Sungem and Seagull will also be able to spot the phenomenon encroaching on the shore from the ocean. Hm.

[Bloodhound is actually here for investigations today, incredible.

Time to focus on that smell first and foremost. Is it coming from anywhere specific at its strongest? Can he tell the direction, is it down at the bottom of the falls or the top?]

[ Yay!

The smell is the strongest at the bottom of the waterfall. ]

[gluttoning]

[Cool, we get to stay down here for a minute then.

Since Temenos is at the hut, Beelzebub will start traipsing down closer to the pool. What kind of damage is out here? Is there debris in the water, or to the cliffside?]

[killerwaves]

[ To start, it sure looks like a mess around here in general with various smatterings of damage to the rock formations. We can get back to that in a bit, because since he's looking into the pool he'll see two long objects in the water. ]

[gluttoning]

[Hm.

Time to wade out a bit and see what's going on. Are the objects nearby, or are they out in the middle of the water? Can he tell what they are? If not, he might need to take a swim.]

[ He's gonna have to wade into the water to get the objects, but since they're pretty long he doesn't need to dive or anything. Beel's efforts get him two harpoons which have seen far better days. ]

[gluttoning]

[Oof. He's going to double check the rest of the pool before bringing those back over to shore. How bad is bad, in comparison to the one he uses at Dodo Cabana?]

[ The harpoons are blunted, chipped and just all around dinged up. You would have a hard time catching any fish with harpoons like this. ]

[gluttoning]

[Oh. Sadge.

Looking at the other end of them. He knows Skywarp was using some of these as a prosthetic, does it look like these were snapped off?]

[ They do line up with how Skywarp would have needed to modify them as a prosthetic.

[Poor one-footed Skywarp. (nobody tell him)

Okay, let's put those aside and take a better look at what's going on with the damaged rock formations. What kind of damage are they looking at? How far up the waterfall's face does the damage go?]

[ It's fine :')

Going back to the damage rock formations, you have a nice array of scorched marks, some holes that look rather laser like, and some general shockwave looking damage going on. It's a mess!

The damage looks to go all the way up to the top of the waterfall. ]

[As Beel looks into the smell, Temenos is going to start checking the debris outside of the hut.

Not...the new debris caused by Beel, of course. But the stuff that definitely wasn't here last night.]

[ Mmhmm, mmmhmm!

Well there's a whole bunch of rock fragments and crystals scattered about. ]

[dupiety]

[Hmmm... Are those crystals usually found over in this area? And do there happen to be any patterns in the debris, such as an idea of which direction they might have come from?]

[killerwaves]

[ The crystals are native to the waterfall area, yes! There's pretty crystal formations at the bottom of the waterfall, but what he's seeing is small bits and fragments of them.

As he's looking at them he'll easily be able to spot one very large footprint or rather several large footprints, in the area in a haphazard looking pattern. ]

[dupiety]

[Whoa. What can he learn about these footprints? Are they bigger than his own, and are there any distinct shapes or treads that he can make out?

Further, is there a way to tell where they came from or where they lead to?]

[killerwaves]

[ They are definitely way bigger and since he's seen Skywarp it's pretty easy to tell they're from robotic feeties (foot). And since this is pretty obvious too, it's not arranged in a way you would expect two footprints to be, but rather one singular foot making multiple prints. Then again, considering Skywarp's leg predicament, this probably makes a lot of sense.

As for any direction, they're definitely erratic looking, but don't appear to have come from anywhere, suddenly appearing at the bottom of the waterfall. ]

[Skywarp was definitely here all right.

Will he find any other smatterings of footprints like this beyond the waterfall area? Or does all of this damage look pretty localized to the waterfall and the rockface itself?]

[killerwaves]

[ The footprints are centralized around the waterfall area, and because this is definitely noticeable but it sure is a friday, blue blood splatters are also scattered around the prints.

It's also pretty obvious that they're not blood proper (though Beel told Temenos that already), but more an oily substance. ]

[Yeah... It doesn't take much to guess whose "blood" that could be.

Assuming there's nothing else to find at the base of the waterfall, Temenos will regroup with Beel to see where they need to go next.]

[ Well Temenos was looking up at Beel as he flew up the waterfall right? Respectfully. In doing so he'll notice that... there's something stuck in the roof of the hut. ]

[dupiety]

[No, clearly he wasn't being mildly horny on main and was looking toward the hut all along.

What is this mystery thing, though? Will he want to try to climb onto the hut to grab it?]

[ A holy man would never...

He'll want to climb onto the hut because once he gets a clear look at it, it's... Skywarp's other foot. The good one! Not the harpoon leg one. ]
