What started with a week promising relaxation turned into something else entirely. It might be nice to try to grab a quiet moment after the whirlwind of the weekend, but there's something to be said about keeping up the momentum too.The island open to you this week, Dodo's Outlook, seems to have that in mind, or at the very least, keeping your mind occupied. All damage to the island buildings has been fixed by Monday morning at least, but noticeably there are less palm trees than before where the damage was the heaviest. Explorers too will find that the area behind the waterfall has been completely sealed off with solid rock.

Whether you're the type to commune with the nature of marine life in the aquarium, the cosmos in the planetarium, or to spin your own tale in the theater, there's plenty to do and enjoy. As always there's task to complete too, and after all you've been through by now, what's a little more bonding in the pursuit of prizes?

The hard part was getting close enough to it to attack it in the first place. This thing was no slouch.

On Thursday morning, Haruka and I alone heard a mysterious sound that lured us to a hidden door behind the waterfall on Kingfisher's Retreat. There was an electronic lock of some sort that had already been disengaged some time earlier, and we were able to enter easily.

The inside appeared to be some sort of laboratory, though with equipment that was far more advanced than any I had seen... something called the "Lelantos" system.

[ he did take at least a few pictures on his phone, so he can share those. ]

There were several reports of experiments that had been conducted — on one unknown subject who was still listed as "alive" and three listed as "deceased", whom we were able to identify from the given descriptions as Merlin, Chai, and Sonya. Each report noted some level of "synchronization" and something being retrieved from the subject. I believe Haruka still has the original reports.

There was a box which released some sort of aggressive violet orb upon contact, and several vials near it. Upon investigating the machine at the center of the lab, it requested a sample be input, so I inserted one of the vials, which seemed to be the appropriate size and shape, to see if it would provide any additional information.

Unfortunately, it did not; it simply stated that the sample had been accepted, and estimated eighty-eight hours until analysis would be completed. I had assumed that I would personally be the one to deal with it if this caused any problems, but I did not take the possibility of such a lengthy wait time into account.

By that point, it was clear that the security system had been tracking how long the lock had been disengaged, so we thought it prudent to exit the premises.

Shuda suffered a few broken ribs, but Magolor was able to patch them up once he was called to the scene.

Just mean carting them around, but I did get some totes from the store. They have fun sayings like beaches for life or where's the bouys at.

But oh. This breaks his heard a little, and his expression softens, tinged slightly with guilt before he brings his free hand to rest at the top of her head, patting her slightly.]

I'm okay for now. I can always go to the buffet if I'm still hungry after this.

[ Ibuki's been chilling but when he hears this, he starts laughing. ]

Ah, then it's your doing? Congratulations and my condolences on your baby. We had to drown them.

[He'll go over to Shuda and raise his hand near the other's chest. After chanting a prayer, his hand begins to glow with warm light. Shuda should feel much better after this. Even his older injury will have sorted itself out!]
