Oui!
Roses have an entire language of their own, and as you said, all flowers do. Still, there is none more
magnifique
than the rose!

Sending someone roses is a
euphΓ©misme
for getting rid of them. Roses may be beautiful, but they hide their sharp thorns quite well.
