Good Mourning. Unlike the previous weeks, there's no musical serenade to greet you, just the ambient sounds of the island and the stirrings of those you spent the night with, if you were the type to want company. For those of you on certain islands, the background thrum (and siren laments, for those unlucky) of the warp phenomenon may also have sung you to sleep; but will they sing you to waking? You know how this goes by now, so is anything on this of all mornings really comforting? And is everyone you spent the night with still with you...?

Indeed, the not-so-dulcet tones of the ever-present haze fill the morning; you may not want it accounted for, but here it is nevertheless.

[The gloves are certainly too small for Beel but not significantly smaller. They're around standard medium-large sized.

The cold storage seems to be undisturbed.]

[The full lookover just nets more bruising and overall damage -- his legs certainly haven't been spared, but they look a little better than the torso and arms.

Speaking of which, his intact hand displays similar blistering to his face.]

[ Ah, more blistering... alright, he's noting that down.

He's going to take a look around Zelkov for any other hidden knives before circling back to his left arm just to be thorough. How badly crushed and mangled is it? ]

He'll do a more thorough investigation to look for any hidden injuries under her clothes. Afterwords, he carefully turns her over to see if she sustained any injuries to her back side.]

[No more surprise knives, thank goodness.

The arm is pretty badly crushed! Like, to the point where, if you peek at the exposed bone -- the bone has cracks running through what's visible.]

[Checking her back will yield some bruise-like patterns -- principally on the the nape of her neck, the backs of her shoulders and the backs of her legs and arms.]

[ That sure is pretty bad! Damn, poor Zelkov.

If there isn't anything else that jumps out at him regarding Zelkov's body, then he's going to say that his work here is done. ]

[Well, that's certainly a discovery! What exactly do these bruise-like patterns look like? Do they make up some kind of shape or idea as to what caused them?]

[It looks like most of the bruises outline the area around where her back contacts the bench -- in fact, some of the patterns correspond to irregularities on the bench as well.]

[Got it. While he's looking, is there any blood to be found on the bench itself? Or does it seem to mostly be apparent around Nona's head injury and the inside of the coat so far?]

[Most of the blood on the bench appears to concentrate around where Nona's head is laid (and the inside of the coat) -- and there's not a great quantity of blood.]

[Definitely doesn't seem like enough to match an injury like that, goodness. He'll keep all of this in mind as he finishes up the body invest.

[Temenos is here to take a closer look at that snowman! What secrets are you hiding, Mr. Snowman?]

[It looks like the most ordinary little snowdude in the world, wooden arms, disarming (metaphorical) face, all the works.

How will you greet the snowdude?]

[Fyre what kind of question is this. Realistically speaking, Temenos wouldn't greet it at all.

He's just going to start inspecting what is comprising it or anything actually unusual about this seemingly ordinary snowdude.]

Well, the arms seem kind of very haphazardly stuck in there! They also seem to be of different lengths and thicknesses... Really, it looks a bit like a hack job now that you're looking closely. Moreover, the way the snowman is packed is somewhat uneven even if it is round. Like someone really just wanted to get a lot of snow together really, really quickly.]

I am so very sorry for what I am about to do to you.

[He says to the snowman before he starts dismantling it. No greeting, but at least he'll say sorry for killing it??

He's also going to do this carefully in case there really is something tucked inside of it that happens to you know...be bad for his well-being.]

[It always pays to be careful!

Because as it so happens, Temenos' thorough and careful dismantling uncovers two extremely unusual things about this snowfellow:

1. The so-called "arms" turn out to be two broken halves of what looks distinctly like a nailbat, bloodied and messy and surprisingly well-hidden away when stuck in snow whimsically.

2. The further he digs into the snowman... well... the more red he starts finding. It sticks the snow together in clumps, and seems to look fresher the closer to the center of the snowman it is. ... There's quite a bit of it.

Is...is there anything at the center of this unholy creation or is just a blood depository?]
